Welcome new Fifth Graders!
I am very excited to meet you and looking forward to a great school year. This year, you will be part of a team of two fifth grade classrooms. You will have Lranguage Arts (reading and writing) and Social Studies with Mrs. Hutchinson. I will be your Math and Science teacher. You will rotate to "special" classes throughout the year. We have been very busy working to make your fifth grade experience the best it can be.

Fifth Grade Supply List 2022/2023
Daily Supplies:
Pencils (standard or mechanical)
Dry Erase Makers (Multi-color)
Scissors
Crayons (24 ct.)
Colored pencils
Highlighter (yellow)
Large pink eraser
Ruler (Marked with Metric and U. S. Standard units)
6 Glue sticks
Sticky Notes 3”x3”
1 2-pocket folders with prongs for paper
5 composition books (9¾” x 7½”, 100 sheet, wide-ruled)
2 packages of loose leaf paper (college ruled)
Pencil sharpener with shavings holder (optional)
Clear tape
Clipboard (letter-size)
3 boxes of tissues to share
1 canister of disinfecting wipes (Clorox, Lysol, etc). (Please, no baby wipes.)
Daily Organization Binder:
1 inch wide view binder
(A sheet of paper can be inserted on the outside.)
1 zipper pencil pouch with 3 holes to fit in binder.
(Heavy duty canvas.)
4 pocket folders with 3 holes punched and
without prongs for paper.
Please help by:
* Putting your name on your scissors, ruler, clipboard, and inside spiral notebooks, composition books, folders, and binders.
* Put a few pencils, eraser, tape, glue stick, and scissors in the zipper pencil pouch.
* Organize:
1. zipper pouch and folders in the Daily Organization Binder
2. dividers in the Reader’s Notebook
* Supplies may need to be replenished throughout the school year.
